Please check back again later for more details

Programme Information

Our children are important to us. As they grow up in this ever changing world we want to provide a place where they can be impressed by God’s never changing attributes, the wonders of creation, the humanity of Jesus and build proper human character. The Stars Holiday Programme is a fun-filled week comprising of a structured day where the children participate in organised games, story time, free-play, and learning experiences.

Stars Primary Holiday Programme is OSCAR (Out of School Care and Recreation) approved and has a supervisor:child ratio of 1:4 during the organised games and story time.

Learning Experiences

After lunch, the children participate in one learning experience for the whole week. We have a range of learning experiences to suit different age groups and different interests. Certain learning experiences are very popular and we may close enrolment to those learning experiences as we approach our cap. Please enrol early to secure your child’s place.

Our current learning experiences are:

Science level 1 (Y1-3) – allows children to learn and participate in basic science experiments in a fun and safe learning environment. Children usually will make something to bring home. Previous projects include solar ovens, investigating strange non-newtonian fluids, kite making etc.

Science level 2 (Y4-6) – is geared towards the older primary children. Previous projects include building steam powered boats, electronics, detergent, making creams and lotions, LED flashlights etc.

Boys’ Club (Y1-4) – is a project based learning experience for young boys. Previous projects include making foam gliders, making small fires to cook marshmallows, making helicopters, shooting rockets etc. (Not available July 2023)
