Learning Experiences

After lunch, the children participate in one learning experience for the whole week. We have a range of learning experiences to suit different age groups and different interests. Certain learning experiences are very popular and we may close enrolment to those learning experiences as we approach our cap. Please enrol early to secure your child’s place.

Our current learning experiences are:

Science 1 (Y1-3)

Children learn and participate in basic science experiments. Children usually will make something to bring home. Previous projects include solar ovens, investigating strange non-newtonian fluids, kite making etc.

Science 2 (Y4-6)

Geared towards the older primary children. Previous projects include building steam powered boats, electronics, detergent, making creams and lotions, LED flashlights etc.

Challenge Academy (Y1-6)

Learn teamwork skills to conquer challenges as a team. Previous activities include the amazing race, escape room, relay races, scavenger hunts etc.

Creative Hands (Y1-4)

Fun hands-on crafts and art projects that encourage creativity. Previous projects include making hats, kites, puppets etc.

Chess Club (Y1-6)

Life is like a chess game. Every decision in life, just like every move in chess, has either immediate or long-term consequences. Therefore, decide wisely! Learn proper sportsmanship and life lessons through Chess. Chess club designed is for everyone, from beginners to advanced.

Cooking (Y4-6)

Children learn to bake and cook simple treats. Please bring a container to take the food home.
