Privacy Act 2020: The information that you will supply is necessary for the safe and effective operation of the OSCAR programme. This information will only be viewed by Stars Holiday Programme Staff. You are welcome to review information pertaining to your child’s enrolment at any time. We will not distribute your information for any purpose other than the administration of the programme.
By enrolling your children in this programme you agree and acknowledge:
– That you have read and understand the enrolment information on this website.
– That the staff have your permission to arrange any necessary urgent medical treatment for your child(ren) at your cost.
– That you will notify the staff of any changes to enrolment information in a timely fashion.
– We reserve the right to deny enrolment to any child if the information supplied is inaccurate.
– Fees are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to take photos of activities and children participating in those activities for internal and promotional purposes. By enrolling a child in the Stars Holiday Programme, you give consent for photos to be taken of that child. If you do not wish for photos of the enrolled child to be taken or used, you must state this in writing to [email protected]
Where there are concerns for the safety of a child or another family member, Stars Holiday Programme may share your information with the appropriate organisations.
Our paramount consideration in all our decisions is children’s safety and well-being. For this reason, although we will respect the privacy and confidentiality of the children and their families, there is a limitation to this. Confidentiality cannot be absolute because our duty of confidentiality is balanced by our duty to ensure the safety, well-being and protection of children or others.
All care will be taken to provide supervision of children attending the programme in accordance with programme policies and procedures.
Pricing Policy
$200 per child. The price for the school holiday programme is for the entire week (5 days). We offer sibling discount for each additional sibling (must be from the same family). The price is $60 per additional sibling.
* For the Intermediate Holiday Programme, there will be an extra cost of $15 per intermediate for an outing in addition to the price.
OSCAR Subsidy
Stars Primary Holiday Programme is OSCAR approved and subsidies to cover the cost are available from Work and Income. It is important to apply for the OSCAR Subsidy before the holiday programme starts. The application form is available on WINZ website or you can visit the New Zealand Training Centre reception at 33 Beale Street, Hamilton East. Please contact us if you would like to apply for a subsidy.
Stars Intermediate Holiday Programme is not OSCAR approved.
Refund & Absence Policy
A full refund will be given if a cancellation is made before the enrolment deadline. After the enrolment deadline, no refunds will be given.
If a child is sick for the entire week and did not participate in the programme, they will be eligible for a voucher ($140) to use for a future programme. Sibling discounts will not be refunded. If a refund is requested due to sickness and a child has participated in 1 or more days in the programme, the value of the voucher will be discussed with upper management to determine the amount.
Refunds will not be given for given for a “change in mind”
